      Can I just turn up?

      Unfortunately no. We might be out on racquet collections & deliveries so we always arrange visits by appointment. If you plan or prefer to drop your racquet off, simply call us in advance to to arrange a visit. If we do not pick up, just leave a voice mail and we aim to respond to all restring enquiries within 60 minutes of receiving them. 

      What is the easiest way to reach us?

      The easiest & best way to reach is by calling. If we cannot answer your call, just leave a voicemail and we aim to respond to all voice messages within 60 minutes of receiving them. Customers are contacted in order of contact, so please leave a message. For all restring email enquiries, please allow up to one business day for replies.

      How long do restrings take?

      With our standard service, we aim to restring racquets within 48-72 hours once we have received them.

      Do we offer an evening service?

      Yes. Our stringing service operates 9am-9pm Monday-Sunday.

      Why use us?

      To date, our business has been built on Top customer service, high quality restrings and we always take a highly customer focused approach with all of our customers. We always look to build trust, reward loyalty with our returning customers and we also make time to offer the best guidance we can based on your game and requirements. 

      Do we offer same day stringing?

      Yes. This a weekend only service, booked in advance (subject to free slots) and costs an extra £5 per racquet. Same day service also requires customers to drop and collect their racquets and pay in advance for the restring upon racquet handover to us.

      How can i pay for my restring?

      We accept cash or advance electronic payment for online orders.

      Do restrings have warranties?

      Unfortunately no. Once racquets are strung, strings cannot be resold. We always offer to text check all our customers 1-2 weeks after their restring. If there any problems, we always look to find mutually agreed solutions. Please see our repair terms and conditions for further details.

      What do restring prices include?

      Restring prices with the exception of labour only restrings include restring consultation, string-set, restring labour, free collection & delivery where listed and return protective packaging.

      Do we check racquets in advance?

      Always. We do our best to check for hairline cracks and faulty grommets. In line with our repair terms and conditions, we reserve the right not to repair racquets. Due to the possibility of damage to badminton racquets in stringing machines, all badminton restrings require customers to agree to our terms and conditions sent by text.  

      What machines do we use?

      Electronic and Manual crank machines are available.

      What knots to we use?

      Parnell, Pro Knots (wilson), single /double half hitch, toshi and VS starting knots.

      Do we offer stringing discounts?

      Yes. We offer a discount scheme to schools and organisations who join our partner program.

      What is UK RSA and ERSA?

      Both are recognised associations who train stringers to be able to work at the highest level. Instructors are Master Racquet Technicians and all have pro tournament experience.  Stringing is a skill that takes years to develop to a high standard. For anyone looking to learn about strings, suitability and stringing, we strongly advise you train with either association. Alternatively, for understanding more about strings, take guidance from a stringer who has been trained by one of the above. We are UK RSA Pro Certified and also belong to the ERSA.

      What does this cover?

      Two services are available:

      1. Restrings to listed areas
      2. Restrings with store items to listed areas

      Do we offer cash on delivery?

      Yes, but for restrings ordered offline only. If store items are requested to be delivered to listed areas with a restring, they need to be ordered with your restring online.

      The E-Store:

      What is the E-Store?

      The E-Store is our online racquet sports store that enables you to order items to be delivered either with or without a racquet restring collection and delivery.

      Are my details safe?

      Yes. All transactions processed on our website are 100% safe. All credit and debit card details are encrypted during and after the checkout process. After authorisation is successful, the encrypted data is wiped.

      How do I order just store items?

      1. Add store item(s) to cart & checkout

      Can I collect E-Store items from TS?

      Yes. Once your order is received, you will be contacted to arrange collection. If items if not in stock, they will be ordered and normally available within 48 hours for collection.  Please follow below to assist:

        How long does delivery take?

        For E-Store orders submitted with restrings, we aim to deliver restrung racquets back with your order within 72 hours once your racquet is received. You will be contacted to arrange collection and we will pick your order and deliver it back with your restring. For orders being delivered directly to you, please see below based on orders being processed 2:30pm on a working day.

        • Orders over £30 (free delivery) - standard 1st class: Allow 1-2 days.
        • Orders sent by Royal Mail 1st Class signed: Allow 1-2 days.
        • Royal Mail Special Delivery signed: Allow 1 day.

        Not in to receive delivery?

        If nobody signs for the package, a calling card will be left and the goods will be returned to your local delivery depot. You may contact the courier to arrange a suitable redelivery date or alternatively, it may be possible to collect the order from your local depot. Identification will be required upon collection.

        Please note that by leaving a signed note at the delivery address, alternative delivery instructions may be offered for the delivery driver to adhere to. Depending on your property, the delivery driver may deliver to a neighbour or leave the parcel in a safe location at your address. 

        Can orders go to another address?

        This can be done. Please ensure you provide the the address your card is registered to for the Billing step upon checkout for security checks. For the Shipping step upon checkout, you are welcome to have an order shipped to a work or alternative address.

        How do I get a receipt or invoice?

        When an leaves for delivery, the final receipt is emailed on the same day, usually between. The email subject line begins with "Receipt & Shipping Confirmation".

        How do I cancel an order?

        Orders are processed for fulfilment immediately after payment has been received and therefore it is imperative you contact us as soon as possible to cancel or adjust an order.

        If the order has already been shipped, it is advisable to reject delivery at the attempted point of delivery and ask the delivery driver to return the package back to the sender.

        What are the E-Store hours?

        The store operates 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday.

        What delivery options are available?

        How do I return a store item?

        To return an item you have 28 days to do so. We request that contact us to obtain authorisation to return a product first. Please note that In order for us to accept returns, the product must be in the same condition you received the product in upon delivery, if you have changed your mind with a purchase.

        Failure to contact us, prior to returning the product(s), will result in delays in dealing with your request. Returning the product to us is the responsibility of the customer and therefore steps must be taken to ensure the product is received back in a satisfactory condition. We recommend sending a product back via an insured postage service. Always retain proof of postage in the event of a claim.

        How will my order be sent?

        If you are ordering items without a restring collection and delivery, they will be sent directly to you. Items ordered with a restring will be delivered with your restring return once your racquet has been collected and restring.  

        Returning my E-Store item?

        Customers have a legal right to return an order within seven days of receipt of the order. Topstring has extended this period to 28 days. The product must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Returns and refunds do not apply to items listed in our returns policy. 

        Once the order is received back at our warehouse, we will issue a full refund for the order to your original payment method, minus any shipping expenses.
